In a sense helping a person get sober is where AA begins. What people do not understand is an AA member can become a part of a lifetime group of joyful, helpful, faithful friends. A true brother of mine in AA recently died. His wife had all the help she needed. She will receive amazing Godlike love and service to infinity. That help is available for me too. Charlie, his wife and I are family. When He was healthy he never had an unpleasant look on his face. He is kindness personified. I ache. G
